Teacher Assistant

Hello I will be Ms. Duax's Teacher's Assistant for the upcoming web design sessions. My name is Darryl Lardizabal and I will be helping you in any way I can. I started out as a web designer and then became interested in the field of graphic design. Since then, I have done many different graphic designs for several business clients. I still have know how to web design and with the added benefit of working with businesses, I am able to share some tips that will help streamline your web pages and make them accesible and simple for everyone to use. Please feel free to comment or email me (dsteven05@aim.com) with any questions you may have.

Tip #1: Elaborate web pages, though they look nice, bog down older computer systems and modems, thus it is not always the wisest choice to incorporate many graphics and pictures into your web pages. Keep them simple and to the point, especially when dealing with customers who may become impatient when waiting for the web page to download, causing you to lose to business in the long run. Remember not all clients and customers are up to date on the latest computer trends, so you must think of how to access all customers not just a select few. Access to more customers will lead to more traffic and more business.
