The Daily Blog for Tuesday June 27

Welcome to Web Design and the Internet. Every day we will have a few minutes of class time to write and reflect on what we learned in the Daily Blog. To get credit for your post you must put your name on it somewhere! All posts are moderated, which means they don't go live on the Internet until I read them and OK them. Today please tell me the following things in your post:
  1. What was the most surprising thing you learned today?
  2. What do you hope to learn from this class?
  3. Can you guess what I am holding in this picture?

The most suprising thing I learned is that the internet was mostly created in the 90's, so it hasn't been around that long

Thanks for teaching us about the internet. I learned alot of stuff like when email was invented, how the internet and email work, how the "@" symbol was invented and when, and how the internet doesn't belong to anyone. I hope to learn how to make a web page so I can use it and how to and how to make my own logo. I think you're holding the world's largest floppy disk.

Hey There!
I learned a lot of cool things today, but what I really liked learning about was all the different search engines. It gave me a chance to try new search engines, so i could make searches a little more efficiently. Also, something I hope to learn is how to make a website and how to do Power Point more efficiently. I could never guess what you're holding in your picture, so I'm going to take a stab in the dark. Is it an old vinyl record?
