Daily Blog for Tuesday July 25

Hello ATS friends! I hope you are managing to stay out of the heat during the hottest part of the day and I hope you are finding cool things to do to help you keep your cool.

Today please tell me:

  1. What is the front page of EVERY website called (named)?
  2. What is the difference between NAMING and TITLING?
Thank you and please remember to put your name somewhere on the post.

Ms. D

1) index.htm
2) titling is where you do the title html tags, and whatever you put between those tags shows up on the very top bar of your website. Naming is when you name the file, such as webpage.html.

You would name the front page of every website index.html. When you title a web page people will see the title at the top of the page or screen. When you name a file it is for your own reference.you will use the name to open a file.
