a root folder is a central place where everything can be found, this is exetremly important if you lose something.
main page name= about me
The root folder is the folder that holds everything for your website. It may have other folders inside it, but every folder, program, image, document, and page is stored inside it. Your main page should be named "About Me."

The root folder is the main folder that holds multiple folders which hold your information. They are important because if there was no root folder, there would be no way to store all of our data, therefore whatever you created will not exist. And, your main page should have index.html at the end of the URL.

A root folder holds all the work you've done on your web page. It keeps everything together so you dont have to find it in the giant void of *dramatic music* "My Documents." :)

The importance of a root folder is that without it, your files would be unorganized which would make it harder for your webage to respond when you try to open it. And without a main folder, it would be harder for your webpage to function. Your main page is called index.html or home.html.

Html is coding that makes up some webpages. Advanced pages has complex/simple codings. The the timescale of internet , internet was made for the government so it is flexible. About a 20+ years later , the internet fell into widespread use.

The importance of a root folder is to keep stuff organized by puting things into files.Just like cleaning a garage and puting the furniture in a pile so that later you can get certain items out like chairs.
I think a main page should be named something that attracts people, like COME HERE FOR DRAGONS FIRE COOL SITE!
